All of the team are wonderful and our dog receives the best care possible at every visit. Whenever we need an appointment which is often at short notice due to an emergency we are accommodated and treated with kindness and care. If we visit the designated out of hours practice we always get a follow up call from sandbeck the day after to check up on our dog and see if we need any help from them. The reception team are lovely and always so helpful on phone calls and in person with our nervous dog. It's great that you can check in for an appointment and get a buzzer that goes off when it's time to go into the exam room. It saves our nervous dog the stress of sitting in the waiting room, we can keep him calm waiting in the car instead. I really can't recommend the sandbeck team highly enough. Since we moved to the practice we have had exceptional care for our dogs fairly complex medical needs. And it's never a problem to work with us and our dog to keep him as comfortable as possible. I was looking after what I thought was a stray cat, the cats ears became inflamed and sore so I took the cat to Sandbeck veterinary centre. They were helpful, interested, knowledgeable and kind. They discovered the cat had been “chipped” and reported missing. The owner was contacted & delighted to be reunited with their cat after an eighteen month “sabbatical” Incredibly there was no charge to either me or the owner - highly recommended is an understatement. Millie was very poorly when I took her to SANDBECK Vets on Friday. Bloods test revealed high white blood cells. She had a liver infection and got a 2 weeks antibiotic injection. And today only 48 hours later she’s back to her old (18) self. After playing with his ball Ben our large lurcher suddenly pulled up with an injury to his back leg and couldn,t put any weight on it so made appointment. The care, professionalism and dedication of the entire team is second to none. The advantage of an independent veterinary practice ensures you will always be guaranteed the same consistently high standard of care by a team who know your pet and how important they are to you and your family. Support from a team of clinical staff for routine appointments and health checks to more complicated medical conditions with the practice partners gives every owner the confidence in knowing their furry friend is always getting the very best care. From a personal perspective the help and guidance from Julian, Mark, Natalie and especially Ed has been nothing short of bloody marvellous! Being able to actually speak to a vet who genuinely cares about you and your pet while working through a challenging diagnostic period is what takes Sandbeck to the next level of veterinary medicine. We are still not out of the woods yet but every step in the journey is fully explained & thoroughly thought through with us, so together we can make the best decisions for Gem’s best interests.
